Wanted

Yay my first movie review!

Anyways, I saw Wanted last night with Kayla...she's my movie buddy. The movie was great I thought. Jam-packed with action so I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Thought the acting was great, and of course James McAvoy isn't too bad to look at. Let's face it, neither is Angelina Jolie haha.

The premise of the movie, don't worry I won't give it all away, is that there is a fraternity of assassins. The job of these assassins is to kill whoever they are told to, because "kill 1 and save a thousand" is their motto. Then there's Wesley Gibson (McAvoy), an accountant who pretty much doesn't care about anything anymore. His girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend and Wesley's job is the worst. Yet he does nothing, then his whole life changes at the pharmacy...

I'll leave it at that. Either way the action is amazing. Crazy gun fights, awesome graphics, James McAvoy's awesome body, ok cars (I'm partial to European cars, they featured mostly American sports cars), and great acting too. Not at all lame like The Happening (don't even get me started on that!).

I highly recommend this movie to anyone, but just be aware there's a lot of blood and guts...what else would you expect from a movie about assassins? So if you can't handle people getting shot then I wouldn't see it...but if you can definitely go see it! 2 thumbs up I'd say...but I need to come up with something else, because I don't need to be following in Siskel and Ebert's footsteps. Any ideas?
