So I've decided to give this another try, I know I wasn't keeping up with my movie reviews last summer, but I think I've come up with a solution for that. Anyways, I rented Taken and got to watch it last night and it was really good!
If you want a movie where it gets straight to the action and doesn't mess around, Taken is definitely for you. Liam Neeson stars as a former spy whose daughter is kidnapped in Paris. He goes there to find the men who took her and mainly kicks ass and takes names the whole time. This movie is just jam packed with amazing action sequences and feel good revenge scenes.
The movie is only an hour and a half long, which I loved. It kind of reminded me of Red Eye the way it gets right into the action and keeps you glued to the TV and on the edge of your seat the whole time. Taken isn't too gory which is a nice change from a lot of movies these days. Mainly I say rent this movie as soon as possible and get a big bucket of popcorn to help with the suspense!
